Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), pandemic and subsequent Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and other government orders, the decision has been made to postpone our Annual Meeting until further notice. We will notify the membership as soon as a new date has been established. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times.

A Credit Union is a unique financial institution in that every member has an equal vote. Members are invited to attend the Credit Union’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 16th beginning at 5:00 P.M. Members will hear reports from Management and the Board of Directors on the financial position of the Credit Union during 2019. In addition, reports will be given on past and current happenings with the Credit Union and the strategic goals for 2020.
At the Annual Meeting, two volunteers will be selected to serve on the Credit Union’s Board of Directors. As required by Credit Union Bylaws, a Nominating Committee was appointed to select candidates for the Board. The Nominating Committee has submitted the names of the following individuals to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of Credit Union of Georgia.
Ms. Barbara Selby, Nominated to Board of Directors
Ms. Barbara Selby has been nominated for re-election to Credit Union of Georgia’s Board of Directors. Ms. Selby served on the Loan Approval Committee, followed by the Supervisory Committee before joining the the Board of Directors in 1999. She has been a resident of Cobb County for 50 years and worked in Cobb County Schools for 26 of those years followed by real estate for over 20 years.
Mr. Lynn Rainey, Nominated to Board of Directors
Mr. Lynn Rainey has been nominated for re-election Credit Union of Georgia’s Board of Directors. Mr. Rainey began his time with the Credit Union on the Supervisory Committee, followed by serving on the Board of Directors since 2018. Mr. Rainey has been practicing law for over 40 years and is a long time resident of Cobb County with strong ties to the Community of Marietta.
