Credit Union of Georgia Participates in Cobb County's 2009 Teacher for a Day Program

(Kennesaw, GA) – On October 1st, 2009, Credit Union of Georgia Business Development Representative, Susan Swan, took part in Cobb County’s Teacher for a Day Program sponsored by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Cobb County and Marietta City Schools. Ms. Swan spent the day shadowing Ms. Hill’s 1st Grade Class at Bullard Elementary School in Kennesaw and very much enjoyed working side by side with one of Cobb County’s outstanding Teachers of the Year and learning more about the daily operations in today’s classrooms.

By participating in programs such as the Teacher for a Day program, the Credit Union gains a better understanding of the school system’s challenges and strengths, which allows the Credit Union to better support the staff, students, and educational process of the schools it serves.
