about us
For over 40 years, Credit Union of Georgia has been a part of the north metro Atlanta community. Credit Union of Georgia is a not-for-profit financial institution that has served faculty and staff members of local schools and institutions of higher learning and their immediate family members since 1960. Credit Union of Georgia is one of the most stable financial institutions in the nation, according to Bauer’s Financial Reports –– an authority on financial institution stability. Using all of our resources for the benefit of the membership, we are helping families achieve their dreams every day.
Credit Union of Georgia is not the largest financial institution in the area, but we are large enough to provide you with the same products and services as larger financial institutions. Best of all, we are small enough to provide the personal service and attention that you expect and deserve. We provide members with exceptional financial products and services including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, financial planning, complimentary auto buying services, online lending and free electronic services to make your life easier. All of our lending and operating decisions are made locally, right here in north metro Atlanta, to ensure decisions are made quickly and in your best interest.
We invite you to compare our products and services to those at other financial institutions. We think you'll be pleased with what we have to offer.

Members elect a board of directors who serve without compensation and help oversee the operations of the credit union.
